Rural Health Care (RHC)

Shabby clothes, uncombed hair and unhygienic personality are the normal appearance of any poor rural person in a village. Due to poverty and lack of health facilities, majority have no health records of themselves. Percentage of deaths at early ages is higher in villages, compared to cities. Due to ignorance and belief in superstitions, rural people refuse to go to the hospital and get advice from the person concerned. This attitude of village people easily leads to various sicknesses and diseases.

To rectify the above situation, CRANE conducts yearly Medical Camp and health awareness programme at different villages. Also Mobil clinic unit is arranged to various villages for free medical help. The following activities are to be undertaken by CRANE
  • Promotion and training of health workers.
  • Regular health awareness camps at various villages.
  • First–aid centres and Nursing Homes for emergency.
  • A small full – fledged hospital.
  • A permanent mobile health clinic van to different villages.
